This calendar is the
sole source of
information for events
in our District. This
is not so because I say
that, but because the
Masters and officers of
the Lodges in our
District have made it
such. They have all
worked very hard to plan
great meeting nights and
special events for the
education and enjoyment
of all Brethren, and
they deserve our special
consideration.
You will find that the
calendar events, along
with the regular
meetings of every Lodge,
make for a very full
schedule. No matter how
much we may want to, it
will be very difficult
for us to attend every
event. This is where
individual cabletow is
so important.
While every Mason
certainly prioritizes
family and work above
all else, I ask that you
consider honoring your
Lodge next, then our
District, then
everything else
Masonic. In regards to
our District, I believe
that the most important
events are the Lodge of
Remembrance on October
19th, and the MCC ball
on October 25th.
Wherever your Masonic
travels may take you, I
hope to see many of
you on September 5th at
my apron presentation,
being held in Mt. Kisco
Temple. It will be a
great unofficial start
to a fantastic year
together.
Warmest fraternal
regards,
Bro. Peter

Have
you checked the District calendar recently? What a
great start to a year that begins in a month and a
half!
At a
BBQ meeting session held at my house last Saturday,
Masters & Wardens from every Lodge started the
planning for our District in earnest. It was a
great afternoon. Here is a picture of the Master of
Solomon's speaking to our group.
Sorry
that I couldn't capture everyone in one picture
Many
great ideas and great plans were exchanged that
day. After talking with this great group of leaders
in our District, I cannot wait to start the Masonic
year! in the meantime, enjoy a great summer.
Best
always,
Bro.

Our Founding Fathers
-
My Brothers,
-
-
On this
anniversary of our nation's birth, I ask that you
join me in remembering the special challenges that
faced our Founding Fathers.
-
-
They could
have easily remained entitled subjects in a society
based upon a centuries-old paradigm of lineage and
privilege. Yet they dared to believe that the world
could be a better place if they built a new society
that focused on the rights of all men and the need
to always strive for something better.
-
-
They did not
discard all of their previous traditions. Instead,
they brought those treasured practices forward,
amending them as needed after careful consideration
as to how they fitted the new world.
-
-
When
their service was concluded, they did not seek to
extend their influence by perpetuating a hereditary
line of leadership. Rather they raised up a new set
of leaders and honored their commitment by
supporting the new generation with the same fervor
that was accorded to them in their day.
-
-
As we pause
to remember their work on our behalf, let us
remember that the work we do today is the foundation
upon which a greater future is built for our nation.
-
-
Warmest
fraternal regards,
-

Well, Collabergh-Radium
was the last Installation of new officers in our
District last night, and we finished off strong! Every
Lodge had representatives in attendance and a great time
was had by all. In fact, there have never been less
than six Lodges in attendance at any Installation.
Things are already going great in the 1st
W-P.
The first pictures of St.
Johns weekend are starting to appear. What a great time
for all. Start clearing your calendar for next year so
that you don’t miss this great weekend.
Here is a picture of some
of our District downstairs contingent at Tompkins
Chapel. There’s more of our family upstairs, but I just
couldn’t snap that picture above my head.
Afterwards, we broke into
our Metropolitan area groups of Staff Officers:
And our District Deputy
Grand Masters:
You know, Summer is hardly
a time of darkness in our District. Make sure you offer
your Lodge help in planning your year as we all get
ready for some great times together.
Get those reservations and
checks in for the MCC Ball, consider being part of the
dual District chili cook-off and check our calendar page
regularly for more updates.
Most importantly, enjoy a
great summer my brothers!
Best always, Bro. Peter
