I want to thank the Brothers of the
First Westchester-Putnam Masonic

as the Masonic Charity Corporation
President at our last meeting.
Please join me in congratulating
all the newly elected officers to
these positions.
1st Vice President - W :. Jovino -

2nd Vice President - R:. W:. Donald
Travis
Financial Secretary - R:. W:. Henry
Battestin Jr.
Treasurer - W :. Glenn Phillips
The success of the MCC over the past
few years has been the result of the
diligent and tireless efforts of the
previous officers and members who
came before. Most recently my
predecessor W:. Matthew Weiss who
along with his officers raised the
bar for all who dare to follow their
path.
I applaud them for their efforts and
I thank them for their continued
support to the Masonic Charity
Corporation.
The very essence of a fraternity is
fraternalism—the sense of obligation
to each other which makes us feel
responsible for each other’s
welfare. As the philosopher Starks
pointed out, “I will forgive my
friend and brother for refusing to
share his triumphs and hoarding his
joy, but his refusal to share his
sorrows and pain comes nigh to
unforgivable.”
One of the most important principles
of Freemasonry is charity. Our
organizations is based on taking
good men and making them better
fathers, husbands, and to support
community service by helping others
in need.
Each Mason has made a direct,
unequivocal promise to God that we
will care for our Brothers, and
their wives, widows and orphans. And
promises---especially those made to
God---matter.
The Masonic Charity Corporation is
the Charitable Organization to help
Lodges fulfill that obligation.
Lodges have always kept track of
their members, helping when help was
necessary. We are here to help those
Lodges and support our Brothers, our
Families and our Communities.
I am looking forward to the
opportunity to work with the newly
elected officers, the Benevolent
Committee and all the other Brothers
who are members of Masonic Charity
Corporation. I am also looking
forwarding to working with all
Lodges in the District to increase
our Brothers active participation in
the Masonic Charity Corporation.
We
welcome suggestions, charitable
requests, and, especially,
attendance at our meetings, from all
brethren.
Thank You
Sincerely & Fraternally
W:. Frank J. Rendina,
President
